Liaquat University (Civil) Hospital, Hyderabad was established under the Bombay Faculty of Medicine, in 1881. It got affiliated with Liaquat Medical College in 1951 and renamed as Liaquat Medical College Hospital, Hyderabad / Jamshoro. Later, with the upgradation of Liaquat Medical College into Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro in 2001, the name of the hospital got changed to Liaquat University Hospital, Hyderabad / Jamshoro. Liaquat University Hospital is a 2000 bedded Tertiary Care Hospital comprises of two branches.
