About Liaquat University Hospital
Established in 1881 under the Bombay Faculty of Medicine, Liaquat University (Civil) Hospital, Hyderabad holds a proud legacy of more than a century in serving the people of Sindh.
In 1951, the hospital was affiliated with Liaquat Medical College and renamed Liaquat Medical College Hospital, Hyderabad / Jamshoro.
With the elevation of Liaquat Medical College to Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro in 2001, the institution was officially renamed Liaquat University Hospital, Hyderabad / Jamshoro.
Today, it stands as a 2,074-bedded tertiary care hospital with two main branches:

- Jamshoro
